Congratulations to Sam Church & Alexandria Huang for being ranked #1 in the nation in the final coaches poll before the Tournament of Champions. Their strong season continued after January, with a win at the Pace Round Robin, a quarterfinals finish at the Barkley Forum, and finals finish at the Texas State tournament and the Cal Berkely Invitational. This is the fifth consecutive poll that LASA CH has led the voting. Chanden Climaco and Raleigh Maxwell were a close #2, with semifinal finishes at the Barkley Forum and winning the NDCA tournament. Peninsula Qin & Yang finished third after winning the Cal Berkley Invitational and a quarterfinal finish at the NDCA. Walter Payton Walsh & Sanchez come in at #4 after finishing in second place at the Southern Bell; they were octafinalists at Emory and quarterfinalists at Harvard. Eagan Li & Sen rounded out the top five, with semifinal finishes at Emory, Harvard, and the NDCA.
