Following are the final results for the 2022-2023 national high school policy debate topic balloting. A record-tying 39 States, the National Speech and Debate Association, the National Catholic Forensic League, National Association for Urban Debate Leagues and the National Debate Coaches Association had the opportunity to vote on the topic. Emerging Technologies was chosen with 30 of the 43 votes (69%) cast for the topic as shown below.
