Get your topic updates

On  a recent podcast we lamented the lack of updates being cut by people on the surveillance topic. Post cast I got an email asking what kind of articles should people be reading for updates- so here is a list to get you started if you are attending tournaments in the next week or so. Why should you cut updates? Because new info has come to light man. Everyone understands (or should) the importance of having updated uniqueness- but having updates for all parts of any argument is important. The most recent evidence should theoretically take into account recent events which may have changed the status quo dramatically one way or the other. Oftentimes having better, more recent evidence can let a less experienced/skilled team defeat a much better team because there is only so much you can do to get past a truth deficit in your strategy.

The names of the articles should make clear what they are about. All were found doing basic google news searches like “NSA Surveillance” or “Obama surveillance”- nothing fancy here at all, you just have to wade through the results.
